Speech-therapy help for children who lost a parent to the war — supporting speech development, confidence and socialisation.
This project serves children who have lost one parent to the war. Its goal is speech-therapy help that supports a child's speech development, confidence and socialisation.
The format includes free diagnostics, online sessions with a speech therapist, individual programmes, parental involvement and continuous progress monitoring.
The project has helped children aged 4 to 8 with individual speech challenges — including dysarthria, dyslalia, difficulty with sibilant sounds, phonemic-perception disorders and unclear speech.
Results include initial diagnosis of speech and cognitive development, improved articulatory motor skills, development of phonemic perception, and teaching children to control their speech breathing.
