Veteran rehabilitation

Rehabilitation for veterans after severe wounds — restoring speech, movement coordination and everyday-life skills.

This project helps service members through the difficult path of recovery after severe injuries. Its goal is to support a return to a more independent life through the development of speech, movement coordination and everyday skills.

One case is veteran Andrii Pashkovskyi, who — after a severe wound, a coma, intensive care and loss of mobility — went through a long recovery. Thanks to persistence and rehabilitation, he can already move with crutches and care for himself.

A family also shared a testimonial about a rehabilitation course at the 'Modrychi' centre. The project shows how vital targeted support for wounded veterans is, and how rehabilitation helps restore movement, function and quality of life.
